They stopped on top of the mine shaft as Steve pulled out the small survey drone. He trew it in the pit and observed it's descent through his wrist monitor.

"Anything?" Mirela asked tightening her harness.

"Nothing yet," Steve shrugged, "all these mine shafts, it's almost as the people that lived here had an obsession with the underground."

"Or they were looking for something." Mirela turned around facing Steve as she held on to the rope.

She rappelled down the shaft as Steve threw yet another drone. 'Yeah, it seems this entire civilization was looking for something underground.'
